FAMILY
October 13 – October 21 (maybe)
10.13.2020: Ed and I worked out a plan for converting part of the North room into a gym. PJ will remove three desks! 1500: Sending out last week’s Maytag. Everything went wrong! Had to go back to the old format until Julie could fix the GC one.
PJ and I watched the Social Dilemma again. Scary. 2045: “To sleep, perchance to dream.”
10.14.2020: 0600:
Last night you got my challenge for November. If you don’t want to do the poetry, but you’d like to tackle the NANO adventure, go to this site. Remember: It’s free.
our newly updated guide to the contest.
As Jenny Henson said last week, you may set your own goal if you want. 1030: I rode with PJ to Body Central. While she worked out, I finished Tucson Firsts by Larry Cox: A fun and interesting read. For example: When the automobile arrived, so many people were racing on Speedway that the City passed its first speed limit: 7-miles per hour! Later, the City raised the limit to 10-miles per hour. Gas was purchased by the quart from the drugstore.
1330: Fixed a late lunch. Sorry, we finished before I remembered to take a picture. We have enough left-over for dinner.
1900: Spent a couple of hours on the Church Charge Conference – Zoom. What an outstanding group of people!
We finished the evening by watching Part 2 of the History of Cats. 2100: We stopped halfway through for sleep. We’ll finish it on another evening.
Here’s a sample of Prose Poetry for everyone:
I have finished 94 years of living

Virginia and Larry’s Sunset from the ocean side of Mission Bay.
Lucy’s view from her house. (This is for all of her Tucson friends who don’t remember what water looks like!)
Day 1: Joe and family in Chicago – Celebrating Rachael’s 21st Birthday (making her halfway to 42!). Well, come on. Let’s keep things in perspective. Ethan, Rachael, Jessa, Bekah, Joe.
10.16.2020: 0500: Venus (rising) and Mars (just setting) still visible.
Before this section of the North Room becomes a gym for Sam and Phyllis.
0800: We had PD specific exercise this morning. Charles and Richard joined us at 0830. I used the standing vibrator for balance and sang/read a song. It gave me an artificial vibrato. https://photos.app.goo.gl/28yuMYCWhTAYw5bs5
Afterward, Charles met us at Viv’s where we had breakfast on the patio. He’s a few years ahead of me with PD. He takes a regimen of medications. We all agreed on our good fortune to have Tresha as our PT.
I spent the day writing. PJ spent the day editing my work. Together, we got 65 pages edited. She was still working when I went to bed (2030) but she finished Episode 2. It was on the counter when I got up, Sunday.
10.17.2020: It doesn’t seem possible that it’s Sunday again.
Bekah, Elise (Bekah’s roommate), Rachael, Ethan, Jessa, Joe. You’d think they enjoy fishing on Lake Michigan, no matter the weather of 30º.
Rachael catches her Birthday present.
And Joe caught one too. with Bekah and Ethan.
Joe, Jessa, Ethan, Rachael, Bekah – You’d think it is cold – Come on Sam, that is Chicago! 32º
PJ remembers Chicago winters when she was growing up. That’s why she lives in Tucson, Arizona!
